Job Title: Risk Management Intern

This role can sit in either Milwaukee, WI or Orlando, FL

The FIS 2019 Corporate Summer Internship:

As a 2019 Corporate Summer Intern with FIS, you will benefit from on the job training and mentoringalong with participation in team projects, social events,charity work, and professional development seminars.

Interns will receive the opportunity to build professional relationships and enhance their interpersonal skills. As an intern, you should expect to own the following roles and responsibilities: Contribute individually and/or as a team member to support a designated functional area, analyze business processes, and work towards goals and objectives assigned byan experienced manager. Interns will also interact with and support business partners and participate in projects that directly impact business value.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists in handling the execution of risk assessment activities and coordination of risk response and program testing and validation to ensure achievement of strategic objectives

Reviews significant events and advises business owners of action steps required to prevent future recurrence

Documents risk analysis and controls and evaluates control design and continuous control improvement

Handles specific areas of exposure and selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure efficient operations

Identifies areas of potential improvement

Develops and maintains knowledge of regulatory requirements

Participates in strategy and business plan development

The Intern will be assigned to the Risk Management group in *LOCATION* during this tenure.


Must be currently enrolled at an accredited university pursuing a degree in a related field of study

Displays good written and oral communication skills

Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of MS Office

Ability to work in one of FIS strategic locations for the duration of the internship

GPA requirement of 3.0 or higher

Additional skills, knowledge, and experience may be required based on the type of functions the incumbent will perform.

Majors that would be of interest are Computer Sciences; Information Security; Network and System Administration; Business Administration or similar fields.
