WEG currently has an excellent opportunity for a to manage our sales territory in the Upper Central region. This territory includes several long term larger customers as well as many opportunities for new business growth. This role is responsible for continuing to strengthen our existing customer relationships and develop new customers primarily focused in Wisconsin and Minnesota .
Key responsibilities include regular sales calls at new and existing customers, developing routes for effective travel and time spent with all key contacts at each account. You will develop strategies to grow your sales, provide input into new products needed and manage opportunities to better serve our customers.The best location to manage this territory is in Wisconsin and regular travel is required.
Most qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, possess at least 5 years of applicable industrial sales experience, preferably with motors. Any experience with pumps, compressors, fans, gears, conveyors, and industrial equipment is a plus. This is a territory with tremendous growth potential and we are looking for someone with solid presentation skills, an ability to communicate with people at all levels of an organization, and discuss solutions for their products needs using our wide range of motors, controls and gearing. Strong people skills are needed to develop customer trust, share technical expertise and interface between new and existing customers and our inside sales team and other departments that may be involved in the selling process.
